Grant Finder Service

As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, there were several grant finder services and databases available. However, keep in mind that services and platforms may evolve or change over time. Here are some popular grant finder services:

  1. Grants.gov:
    • Grants.gov is the primary source to find and apply for federal grants in the United States. It provides a centralized location for grant seekers to find and apply for federal funding opportunities.
  2. Foundation Directory Online (FDO):
    • Foundation Directory Online, now part of Candid, is a subscription-based service that provides access to a vast database of grantmakers and their grants. It includes information on foundations, corporate giving programs, and public charities.
  3. GrantWatch:
    • GrantWatch is an online database that aggregates grant opportunities from various sources. It covers a wide range of sectors, including nonprofits, small businesses, individuals, and government agencies.
  4. GrantStation:
    • GrantStation is a subscription-based service that offers a curated database of grant opportunities. It provides resources for nonprofits, including federal, state, and private grants.
  5. Pivot (formerly Community of Science):
    • Pivot is a comprehensive database that includes funding opportunities for research and academic projects. It covers a wide range of disciplines and types of funding.
  6. The Foundation Center (now Candid):
    • Candid’s database includes the Foundation Directory Online (FDO) and other resources for grant seekers. It provides information on foundations, grants, and nonprofit organizations.
  7. Instrumentl:
    • Instrumentl is an online grant search platform that helps individuals and organizations find relevant grant opportunities. It covers various sectors, including education, health, environment, and more.
  8. GrantGopher:
    • GrantGopher is a grant search tool that allows users to find grants for nonprofits and organizations. It aggregates grant opportunities from various sources.

When using these services, it’s essential to carefully review the eligibility criteria, deadlines, and application requirements for each grant opportunity. Additionally, check if there have been any updates or changes to these platforms since my last update in January 2022.
